Do not delay in contacting our offices!  Pavlich Law has experience representing clients in DUI related charges in Court, and has also represented clients during Department of Motor Vehicle Administrative Suspension Hearings.   These hearings have deadlines! It is extremely important not to delay in contacting Pavlich Law following an arrest for DUI, as there is a strict 10-day deadline to contest this automatic suspension.

Penalties

Penalties for a DUI conviction are extensive and increases with prior DUI convictions. The long list of penalties include jail time, probation, heavy fines and fees, driver license suspension, ignition interlock device installation, DUI class attendance, not too mention the increase in costs to your auto insurance policy for the next 7-10 years.

Additionally, the Orange County District Attorney’s office is administering their own DNA collection database.  This is NOT a California State requirement.  You should discuss this option with your attorney.

Defenses

There are strict requirements for Law Enforcement to adhere when conducting Field Sobriety Tests, as well as strict procedures involved during breathalyzer tests and blood tests.  There are numerous ways that Law Enforcement officers routinely fail to adhere to the necessary steps which can result in false positive test results.  Pavlich Law is experienced at ensuring that all applicable defenses to DUI charges are raised to ensure that the best results, including dismissal of charges, are obtained for the firm’s clients.
